PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Avalon Walnut features a walnut neck with a radiused ebony fingerboard, deco block inlays, and hand-inlaid pearlwork on the Recording King headstock. It's painstakingly assembled with classic American-made 24K gold-plated top tension hardware - including a return to the historic top-tension resonator – and an impressive one-piece, hand-carved walnut resonator back.
Sonically it is powered by a Recording King Pre-War style tone ring, and a hand-turned, hand-fitted 3-ply walnut rim. Greg Rich's engraving of the armrest and tailpiece give the Avalon walnut a one-of-a-kind uniqueness that make it an unmistakable piece of art. Finished in a high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer.
