NEW RECORDING KING ALL-SOLID GUITAR SERIES WITH NITROCELLULOSE FINISHES

Recording King introduces a new all-solid guitar series with historic designs and a rare nitrocellulose finish recalling the most highly crafted vintage acoustic guitars.

Recording King Century Series guitars feature 000 style bodies with 12th fret neck joints for a robust sound and comfortable playability, and a hand-buffed nitrocellulose finish for the deep, authentic tone and warm projection found on original fretted instruments from the early 20th century.

The first model in the Century Series, the ROS-626, is accurately replicated from a 1902 original. This model features an AAA solid Sitka spruce top, solid figured mahogany back and sides, one-piece mahogany neck with a vintage ‘V’ profile and slotted headstock.

“We designed this guitar for exceptional sound and performance,” said Steve Patrino, The Music Link president. “It rivals any guitar from around the world that I’ve come across. You would be hard-pressed to hear any difference in sound between this and its original vintage issue.”

The ROS-626 is a centuries-old masterpiece that’s reemerging as one of the best sounding acoustic guitars of 2008. This model also comes with herringbone purfling, M.O.P. diamond fretboard inlay and pyramid style ebony bridge.

Century Series guitars have a list price starting at $999. Solid rosewood back and side options (ROS-627) are also available. Each guitar comes with vintage style archtop hardshell case with 7-ply wood construction and fitted hygrometer.

Production is limited on each model. Guitars are expected to arrive in stores this July.
