Warranty is for products sold in the USA only. For International Warranty information, please contact your local Distributor.
What is the Recording King warranty policy?
Our warranty begins when you purchase an item from a dealer, either from a store or online. All warranties must be handled through the store or online company from whom the item was bought. Please do not contact Recording King directly. The user is responsible for all freight charges with any warranty repair or exchange. If you intend to bring back an item, first check that it is still covered under warranty, and return it to the place of purchase with your receipt to be assessed by the dealer.
Where can I send a warranty card?
Our products do not require that you register for warranty service. However, most of our warranties do require that you keep a copy of your original sales receipt. Please make sure to keep all relevant paperwork in a safe place.
We ask that you take the instrument to the original place of purchase for any warranty service. If, for any reason, you cannot contact the original place of purchase, you can find the nearest dealer for your area here.
The following policy explains our Limited Lifetime Warranty: Limited Lifetime WarrantyEach instrument is warranted to the original Purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is only valid with an original sales receipt from an authorized Recording King dealer. This warranty is non transferable. For warranty service please return the product to the original place of purchase, or to a local authorized Recording King dealership. The manufacturer, at its option, will either repair or replace the defective product. All replacements are subject to item availability. If any product is deemed not defective, the manufacturer shall so advise the Purchaser and shall dispose of said product in accordance with the Purchaser’s instructions and at the Purchaser’s cost.
